Anita Glibic elected President of Volleyball Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina

Anita Glibic has been unanimously elected President of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina. The election took place during the Assembly on June 26, held at the Olympic Committee headquarters in Sarajevo.

Originating from Mostar, Glibic commences her term with the full support of the Assembly delegates. Milutin Popovic of Modrica was also elected as Vice President and will serve alongside her.

The Assembly also confirmed the members of the Board of Administration. These include Alija Fatic, Miroslav Lucic, Darko Kasap, Zeljko Tepavcevic, Izudin Hrusto, Dejan Travar, and Faruk Hadzic. Asmer Mujanovic and Ivana Nikolic were elected as Substitute Members.

During the same session, the Supervisory Board was appointed. Mario Jovic will lead as President, with Haris Hasanica as Deputy President, and Visnja Calasan as a Member.

The new administration has shared its strategic objectives. Key plans include restructuring the National Federation’s budget, ensuring fair opportunities for all clubs, managing resources with transparency, and strengthening unity within the organization. They also expressed their intention to improve relations with clubs, aiming to increase engagement and bring more fans back to volleyball events.
