The national competition attracted 10 women’s and 14 men’s teams. Over four days of matches, teams competed in preliminary subgroups. The top eight men’s teams and six women’s teams advanced to the next phase, where they continued their campaign under a double elimination system.

In the men’s event, seasoned teams engaged in fierce and highly entertaining contests leading up to the final.
