The 2025 Montenegrin Beach Volleyball Championship concluded on Saturday at the Luštica Bay Courts, where the new national champions were crowned. This successful event was a collaborative effort, organized by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro in partnership with the Luštica Bay team and backed by the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
In the women`s championship, the title went to Ilmira Abdulina and Natalija Daniljuk, who delivered a commanding performance to defeat Ivana Vukčević and Milena Ćetković in the final (21-16, 21-11). Earlier, Vukčević and Ćetković had secured their spot in the final after a challenging semi-final match against Irina Smislova and Julija Kozir (20-22, 21-19, 15-12).
In the men`s category, Aleksej Daniljuk and Oleg Ivanov claimed the top prize, overcoming Aleksa Strahinja and Stefan Radević in a relatively straightforward final with scores of 21-15, 21-17.
Ivan Bošković, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, presented the gold medals and trophies to the champions in both the men`s and women`s divisions. Valentina Krivokapić of Luštica Bay awarded prizes to the second and third-place finishers.
In the men`s event, Vladimir Novović and Nikola Radević secured third place, having been defeated by the eventual champions in the semi-finals (21-10, 21-18). The bronze medal in the women`s competition was awarded to the pair of Smislova and Kozir.
