How to Get Tickets to Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival

August 29, 2026Carlos Mendoza4 мин

Grammy-winning artist Olivia Rodrigo is expanding her involvement in live music by launching Daisy Chain Fields, a new one-day festival. This event aims to showcase prominent female artists and bands fronted by women.

Scheduled for August 29 in Irvine, California, the festival follows the release of Rodrigo’s third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. The lineup includes performances by Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, and more. Esteemed guests such as Stevie Nicks, Karen O, and Sarah McLachlan are also expected to make appearances.

The concept for Daisy Chain Fields has been in development for years. Rodrigo shared with Good Morning America that her vision for the festival involved "girls sitting underneath a tree, like, making little daisy chains or flower crowns or friendship bracelets." She also explained the symbolic meaning of the festival's name, drawing a parallel to how individuals can form a larger, interconnected entity, much like a daisy chain.

Rodrigo was notably inspired by the pioneering Lilith Fair festival. She mentioned that Sarah McLachlan was the first artist she approached after deciding to proceed with the festival, describing McLachlan as a "total trailblazer and an incredible artist and friend."

Beyond its musical offerings, Daisy Chain Fields is dedicated to philanthropy. Rodrigo informed Pitchfork that all participating artists are performing without receiving compensation. The net proceeds will be directed towards initiatives that support and advocate for women and girls, including organizations focused on reproductive rights, healthcare, and survivors of domestic abuse. She envisioned the event as a blend of "hippie girl, riot grrrl punk" aesthetics, combining a "flower child meets riot grrrl" spirit.

"I just feel like we need something really positive to do and see, and young girls need awesome role models who are supporting other women and who are engaging in something that’s really joyful and musical and community-oriented," Rodrigo stated.

The festival's efforts have yielded significant results. On August 28, 2026, Rodrigo announced at a press conference that Daisy Chain Fields had successfully raised $10 million.

"It’s a real honor to announce that we are donating $10 million to be given directly to these 10 nonprofit partners," she said, receiving applause. "I’m so excited for tomorrow, I’ll see you guys there."

A list of the organizations that will receive funding has been published, including Planned Parenthood, Baby2Baby, FreeForm, and the John Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health.
