Natalie Harp is a figure frequently seen by the side of Donald Trump, whether in the Oval Office or accompanying him on Air Force One for numerous domestic and international journeys. Insiders describe her constant presence, noting, "She's always around. Literally, always."

Within White House circles and among the press corps, Harp has earned the moniker "human printer." This nickname stems from her consistent appearance carrying a portable printer, which she uses to furnish Trump with hard copies of articles and social media posts, formats he reportedly prefers. This role grants her significant influence over the information Trump receives, according to sources familiar with White House operations.

Other anonymous sources have characterized Harp to US media as a "gatekeeper" and a "comfort blanket." Her responsibilities extend to managing Trump's social media presence, including posting on his Truth Social account on his behalf. An image widely circulated shows Harp typing a post in Trump's distinctive writing style as he dictates while watching a speech by Kamala Harris in 2024.

Amidst the recent attention, the White House has referred to Harp as a "trusted and valued" member of the team, though Trump himself has seldom spoken about her publicly. Critics, including Senator Ossoff, have pointed to Harp's presence on the plane Trump used to depart Turkey following reports of an Iranian threat, questioning her necessity on such trips.

Journalist Maggie Haberman, when asked on MSNOW why Trump would take Harp on a secret plane, explained, "Because she is sort of his binky, for lack of a better way of putting it, a comfort blanket." Haberman and colleague Jonathan Swan reported for The New York Times in 2024 on a letter reportedly penned by Harp to Trump stating, "You are all that matters to me."

When a CNN reporter inquired about Ossoff's remarks to Trump, the White House issued a vehement response on its official X account, denouncing reporter Kristen Holmes as "a disgraceful, humiliating embarrassment to her alleged profession." Further posts directed at Holmes stated, "Someday, your children will come across your disgusting and inhumane question. They will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive."
