Beyond the Court 2025: FIVB Announces Participants

The FIVB, in collaboration with the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES), is pleased to announce the participants of the 2025 “Beyond the Court” program. This week-long initiative is designed to assist elite volleyball and beach volleyball players in successfully transitioning to new careers after concluding their sports activities.

The “Beyond the Court” program will take place from October 6 to 10, 2025, at the Volleyball House in Lausanne, the Olympic Capital. It offers athletes a unique opportunity to acquire education, expand their network, and gain experience essential for their professional development outside the playing field.

Throughout the week, participants will be able to:

  • Attend daily educational workshops focusing on personal values, transferable skills, professional branding, and communication strategies.
  • Expand their circle of acquaintances by meeting and interacting with key figures in global volleyball and beach volleyball, and exploring future opportunities within both the volleyball community and the broader sports industry.
  • Immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Olympic Capital, establishing contacts with leading international sports organizations and broadening their horizons beyond their athletic careers.

Morning sessions will concentrate on practical methodologies and interactive masterclasses, while afternoons will feature networking opportunities with industry leaders and specialized sessions designed to help participants effectively leverage their experience as athletes.

The “Beyond the Court” program underscores FIVB`s unwavering commitment to supporting athletes at all stages of their careers, ensuring their comprehensive preparation for success both on and off the court.
