BVC Ludus Ljubljana showcased impressive dominance by clinching gold medals in both the men`s and women`s tournaments at the Slovenian Beach Volleyball Club National Championships. The competitions, held at Sports Park Ludus, were imbued with a festive atmosphere, enhanced by a parallel ParaVolley Europe event, underscoring the inclusive spirit of the sports community.

In the women`s category, the BVC Ludus team blended experience with youthful energy. Leaders were Tjasa Kotnik and Helena Mijoc, who had previously performed successfully at the MEVZA Championship. They were supported by the promising U22 pair, Zoja Kalar and Neza Bednjanic. Silver went to the young athletes from OK Lubnik (Anja Potocnik and Neja Ferdin), while VC Portoroz claimed bronze.

The men`s BVC Ludus team demonstrated strategic depth in its roster. One powerful duo comprised the reigning Slovenian champion David Renko and the legendary Danijel Pokersnik, a ten-time national champion. The second strong pair included national championship bronze medalist Jaka Jevsnik, Maks Sluga, Yan Pigarev, and Nejc Zemljak. This combined strength led them to victory in the final against the young talents from Klub Moderne Odbojke, Miha Kosanc and Benjamin Mugerli, who recently represented Slovenia at the U22 European Championships. OK Lubnik finished in third place.
These double victories on their home court not only solidify BVC Ludus`s leading position in Slovenian Beach Volleyball but also serve as excellent preparation for the upcoming CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025.
