The host nation, Czechia, had ample reason to celebrate on the final day of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event in Brno. Three Czech teams ascended to the podium, with two securing gold medals, echoing their success from the previous year.

For the second consecutive year, Czech teams claimed the top spots on the podium in both the men`s and women`s categories at the Brno event.

At the picturesque Sokolske Koupaliste lakefront, the host country proudly secured half of the six available medals. Switzerland earned a men`s podium spot, while France and Estonia were recognized among the women, ensuring a clean sweep of European medals across both genders at this event.

Men`s Beach Pro Tour Brno Futures

Czechia`s dominance was particularly evident in the men`s tournament, culminating in an all-Czech final in Brno. Jakub Šépka and Jiří Sedlák emerged victorious, defeating their compatriots Adam Waber and Matyáš Ježek in straight sets (21-13, 21-16). Waber and Ježek earned silver for the second consecutive season, while Šépka and Sedlák secured the championship title.

The bronze medal in the men`s event was secured by Swiss duo Florian Breer and Luc Flückiger. They overcame Slovakians Lubos Nemec and Adrian Petruf in a thrilling tie-breaker (21-19, 18-21, 15-13), earning their place on the podium at the Czech tournament.

Women`s Beach Pro Tour Brno Futures

In the women`s competition, the home crowd erupted in cheers for Valerie Dvorníková and Michaela Břínková. The unseeded pair, starting as the 11th seed, pulled off a surprising victory to claim the title. They defeated the formidable French team of Anouk Dupin, who had already secured her sixth medal this season, and Elsa Descamps, in an intense tie-breaker (27-29, 21-12, 15-12) during the gold medal match.

While Czechia aimed for a second women`s podium finish, Estonians Heleene Hollas and Liisa Remmelg thwarted that ambition. They secured the bronze medal by defeating Anna Pospisilova and Daniela Mokrá in a two-set match (21-16, 21-19) in Brno.

Dvorníková and Břínková proudly stood as the women`s champions.

Looking ahead, two more Futures events are scheduled to take place simultaneously in Europe from September 4-7. Warsaw, the capital of Poland, will host a men-only tournament, while Budapest, the Hungarian capital, will be the venue for a double-gender competition.

These European Beach Pro Tour Futures events are meticulously organized by the CEV in close collaboration with Volleyball World. They offer teams across the continent crucial opportunities to compete and accumulate significant international ranking points.
