Emanuele Monduzzi to Play Final International Beach Volleyball Tournament at Nearly 55

Italian beach volleyball veteran Emanuele Monduzzi is set to conclude his impressive international career this week at the men’s-only Futures event in Warsaw, Poland. Monduzzi, who debuted in Durban, South Africa, back in 1996, has dedicated nearly three decades to international beach volleyball. He will compete alongside Oleksandr ‘Sasha’ Siedykh, beginning their campaign in the qualification tournament.

Emanuele Monduzzi set for his final tournament in Warsaw, nearly 30 years after his international debut.

Born in 1970, Monduzzi’s international journey began in 1996. Among his notable achievements are a fifth-place finish at a 2001 FIVB Satellite event in Beirut, Lebanon, and a ninth-place finish at another FIVB Satellite in Pfaffikon, Switzerland, that same year. Beyond his playing career, Monduzzi is the President of PowerBeach, a prominent club on the Adriatic coast with over 2,000 members, actively organizing international camps and major events.
