The national beach volleyball tour season is bustling across Europe, with events recently concluding in eleven countries. Here`s a recap of the key results and champions from the various tournaments:
Austria
The 2025 win2day Beach Volleyball Tour PRO recently visited Seewalchen. In the women`s event, the mixed Slovenian-Austrian team of Tjasa Kotnik & Magdalena Rabitsch clinched the title with a 2-1 (21-18, 11-21, 15-12) upset victory over top-seeded Lilli Hohenauer & Lia Berger. Czech duo Andrea Lorenzova & Mariana Tomasova secured bronze, defeating Sofija Saric & Stephanie Wiesmeyr 2-0 (21-13, 21-4).
For the men, top seeds Timo Hammarberg & Tim Berger narrowly won the final 2-0 (21-19, 22-20) against third-seeded Julian Horl & Alexander Horst. Christoph Dressler & Philipp Waller, seeded second, took third place after a tough 2-1 (21-19, 20-22, 15-10) battle against Georg Kostler & Maximilian Trummer.
Belgium
Leuven hosted a stop on the Belgian Beachvolley Championship tour before its upcoming Beach Pro Tour Futures event. The men`s final saw Seppe De Keyser & Jente De Keyser achieve a 2-1 comeback victory (17-21, 23-21, 15-9) over Casper Willems & Arne Darras. Pieter Winters & Timo De Gaspari claimed bronze with a dominant 2-0 (21-10, 21-4) win against second-seeded Alexy Humblet & Hugo Fischer.
In the women`s competition, second-seeded Youna Coens & Sarah Cools emerged victorious in a 2-1 (15-21, 21-19, 15-9) final against top-ranked Britt Ruysschaert & Isabel Van den Broeck. The Bulgarian National Beach Volleyball Tour`s Byala stop featured a hard-fought women`s final where second-seeded Eleonora Gicheva & Darina Kindova secured a 2-1 (21-16, 16-21, 15-13) victory over third-seeded Irena Mishonova & Desislava Nikolova. Elitsa Hristova & Antoniya Nikolova earned bronze with a 2-0 (21-12, 21-19) win against Stefani Kyoseva & Veronika Ivanova.
In the men`s event, top seeds Dimitar Kalchev & Dimitar Mehandzhiyski lived up to expectations, winning gold emphatically 2-0 (21-12, 21-11) against Martin Yochev & Denislav Dimitrov.
