European teams demonstrated outstanding performance at the recently concluded Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite event in Montréal, securing a total of four medals.
The continent showcased its dominance, particularly in the men`s competition, where European duos swept all podium spots. European teams were also strongly represented in the women`s gold medal match.

Just two weeks after winning the CEV EuroBeachVolley for a record fifth time, Norwegian sensations Anders Mol and Christian Sørum continued their impressive streak. They claimed victory in Montréal for the second consecutive year, defeating Sweden`s promising duo Jacob Hölting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson in straight sets (21-19, 21-13).

The all-European men`s bronze medal match featured a thrilling encounter between reigning world champions Ondřej Perušič and David Schweiner of Czechia and Olympic champions David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig of Sweden. The Czech pair emerged victorious after a hard-fought tie-breaker (14-21, 22-20, 20-18), securing the final spot on the podium.
In the women`s tournament, European champions Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann from Germany advanced all the way to the gold medal match. However, they were ultimately defeated by the home team of Canadian Olympic silver medalists Brandie Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes in straight sets (21-15, 22-20), earning a silver medal for Germany.

Latvia`s two-time European champions Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova competed for the bronze medal in Canada but were overcome by Brazil`s Olympic champions Eduarda ‘Duda’ Lisboa and Ana Patrícia Ramos in straight sets (21-14, 21-16), finishing in fourth place.
The Beach Pro Tour Elite series will continue in Europe, with the German city of Hamburg set to welcome the world`s top teams from August 27-31.
