France`s Bassereau & Aye secure silver, while Netherlands` Boermans & De Groot claim bronze.
Brazilian beach volleyball stars Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Mariano Lanci, seeded sixth, captivated their home audience by clinching the gold medal at the Joao Pessoa Elite tournament, part of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. This significant victory marks their fourth gold and seventh overall medal on the Tour. Remarkably, all four of their gold medals have been achieved while competing in their home country, underscoring their powerful connection with the Brazilian crowd.

The journey to the final was particularly notable for France’s Remi Bassereau and Calvin Aye. Beginning their campaign from the qualifiers and ranked 21st in the 24-team main draw, they impressively advanced to the championship match, ultimately earning a silver medal. This achievement represents their inaugural Elite-level medal as a team and their second overall on the Tour, following a bronze medal at the Baden Challenge just last month.
Securing the bronze medal were the Netherlands` second-seeded duo, Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot. This podium finish is their eleventh on the Beach Pro Tour, showcasing their consistent high performance.
