FIMA Crowned Armenian Men’s Volleyball Champions

The Armenian men`s national volleyball championship for the 2024-2025 season, known as the Pro League, concluded in Yerevan on Sunday, May 18. The competition, organized by the Volleyball Federation of Armenia, consisted of four stages. The first two were held in 2024, and the final stages took place in the spring of 2025. From May 16 to 18, the final stage of the league was played in Yerevan, featuring only the top four teams from the preceding phases.

Team FIMA from Yerevan, having suffered only one defeat since the league`s start, was considered the clear favourite and lived up to their status. Teams Gyumri and MSKH finished the regular season in second and third place respectively, having accumulated the same number of points. Team Gyumri, representing Armenia`s second-largest city, defeated their main rival MSKH in straight sets (3-0).

Players from the top three teams were awarded medals and cups. Special prizes were presented to the best performers of the tournament, including the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, which went to Ashot Balabekyan of Team FIMA.
