An Olympic Solidarity-sponsored FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course was held in Basseterre from June 2 to 6, 2025. This program attracted 26 participants, including nine women, to the St. Kitts & Nevis NOC Headquarters. Instructor Rick Bevis led the course, which welcomed a diverse group with varying levels of experience. Running concurrently with an athlete training camp and the ECVA Championships, the course allowed coaches to apply newly acquired skills in a live competitive environment, fostering continuous development.
Côte d’Ivoire: Advancing Volleyball Coaching
From June 4 to 8, 2025, Abidjan’s Palais des Sports hosted an FIVB Coaches Course Level II Volleyball. Instructor Samir Assam led the French-language program, welcoming 34 active participants, seven of whom were women. The instructor praised the candidates` high level of expertise, passion, and commitment, noting their active contribution to a positive and engaged atmosphere throughout the five-day course.
Ecuador: High-Level Coaching Development
Quito hosted an Olympic Solidarity-supported FIVB Coaches Course Level III Volleyball from June 4 to 11, 2025. This Spanish-language course, led by FIVB instructors Luis Muchaga and Francisco Hervas, brought together 32 coaches at the Concentra Deportiva de Pichincha. In Africa, an Olympic Solidarity-supported FIVB Coaches Course Level I Volleyball took place in Banjul, Gambia, from June 9 to 13, 2025. Led by FIVB instructor Appie Krijnsen in collaboration with the Gambia Volleyball Federation, the course welcomed over 24 participants, many already active in local coaching initiatives. Saudi Arabia: Advancing Beach Volleyball
An FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course was conducted in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, from June 15 to 19. Led by FIVB instructor Charles Thilakarathne, the English-language course brought together 34 participants, including five women, focusing on strengthening their knowledge of technical, tactical, and physical preparation for beach volleyball. From June 16 to 20, a Level II FIVB Coaches Course was held in Gaborone, Botswana. Tunisia: Multiple Level I Courses
North Africa featured prominently, starting with an FIVB Coaches Course Level I in Tunis from June 16 to 20.
