With two gold medals, two silver, and one bronze, duos from the European continent dominated the competition, marking another successful weekend for European teams in the Futures series held within the region.

French spectators following the tournament in Montpellier had reason to celebrate a home victory. Top-seeded pair Elouan Chouikh-Barbez and Joadel Gardoque defeated Austrian Olympians Robin Seidl and Alexander Huber in a thrilling three-set gold medal match (16-21, 22-20, 15-12).

The men`s podium at the French event was entirely European. Spanish pair Álvaro Viera and Antonio Saucedo secured the bronze medal, overcoming Austrians Felix Friedl and Florian Schnetzer in straight sets (21-16, 21-13).

The women`s gold medal match in Montpellier also featured a home team, but the title went to Spanish duo Sofía Izuzquiza and Sofía González. They emerged victorious after three sets (21-17, 14-21, 15-9) against Elsa Descamps and Anouk Dupin. This win marked their first title together, adding to the bronze they claimed in Kraków the previous month.
