In a pivotal encounter for second place in Pool G at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Thailand, Germany delivered a decisive performance against Vietnam. The European squad exhibited comprehensive dominance in Phuket on Monday, securing a flawless record of two consecutive straight-set victories. This impressive feat ensures their progression to the knockout stages, joining the world`s top 16 teams. Despite their two losses thus far, Vietnam still maintains a theoretical chance to qualify for the eighth-finals.

Germany effectively compensated for a slightly higher count of unforced errors by asserting overwhelming superiority across all other key scoring aspects. Their commanding display resulted in a convincing 3-0 victory, with individual set scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-21.
