This pivotal event also served as a crucial qualifying round for the preliminary phase of the 2025 CEV Beach Volley European Cup. The historic inaugural tournament proudly unfolded at Praia de Albarquel in Setúbal.
This new initiative vividly underscores the increasing popularity of the continental competition and highlights its remarkable effectiveness in promoting the sport`s further development across Europe. Teams representing Helisandsacademy achieved exceptional success, with both their men`s and women`s squads confidently claiming victory. This resounding triumph earned them the esteemed opportunity to represent Portugal in the initial stage of the European Cup.
Portugal`s Beach Volleyball community experienced a bustling and exhilarating summer season, notably enhanced by the country, and specifically the city of Espinho, hosting the Beach Volley Nations Cup Final in mid-July. At this prestigious international event, teams from Norway and Germany emerged as deserving champions in the men`s and women`s categories, respectively.
