FIVB Beach Volleyball World Ranking – Women

Hladun and Lazarenko`s victory in Warmia Mazury earned them 800 ranking points. After accounting for the expiry of 320 points from their Baden Futures bronze a year ago, the Ukrainian pair added 480 net points to their total. With a new total of 4,380 points, they advanced five positions from 14th last week, tying with USA`s Teegan Van Gunst & Kimberly Hildreth at number nine. This move displaced Brazil`s Vitoria Rodrigues & Hegeile Almeida and Finland`s Taru Lahti-Liukkonen & Niina Ahtiainen from the top 10, leaving them in 11th and 12th place, respectively.

The top three positions in the women`s chart remained unchanged, held by Brazil’s Thamela Coradello & Victoria Lopes, USA’s Terese Cannon & Megan Kraft, and Germany’s Svenja Muller & Cinja Tillmann. Other significant climbers from Warmia Mazury include Germany`s silver medalists, Linda Bock & Louisa Lippmann, who rocketed from 136th to 75th with 1,816 points accumulated over five qualifying tournaments. French Olympic hopefuls Clemence Vieira & Aline Chamereau, bronze medalists in Poland, reached a career-high 12th place, moving up from 15th. Vieira & Chamereau are now the top-ranked French pair for the third consecutive week.

FIVB Beach Volleyball World Ranking – Men

Poland`s leading duo, Bartosz Losiak & Michal Bryl, formerly ranked world number two, secured 760 points from their silver medal finish in Stare Jablonki. This propelled them four spots up to number four, their highest ranking since early August 2023. Reigning Olympic champions and former world number one pair, David Åhman & Jonatan Hellvig of Sweden, despite finishing fourth at the Warmia Mazury Challenge, regained the second position in the World Ranking. They surpassed Argentina’s Nicolas Capogrosso & Tomas Capogrosso, who had occupied the spot for the previous three weeks.

Åhman & Hellvig now hold 6,980 points, maintaining a 460-point lead over the Capogrossos. Norway`s Anders Mol & Christian Sorum continue to lead the men`s ranking, sitting 1,820 points ahead of the Swedish pair. In another notable move, Germany’s Nils Ehlers & Clemens Wickler, silver medalists at the Paris 2024 Olympics and also a former number one team, returned to the men`s top 10. Their quarter-final performance in Poland allowed them to climb four places from 14th, pushing England’s Joaquin Bello & Javier Bello down to 11th.

Warmia Mazury Challenge gold medalists Marco Krattiger & Leo Dillier of Switzerland reached a new personal best, climbing from 71st to 48th. German bronze medalists Paul Henning & Lui Wüst also achieved a new high, advancing seven positions to number 16.
