This week, the women`s team Luka BAR achieved a historic milestone by securing their first-ever Montenegrin Super Cup title. They triumphed over their domestic rivals OK HERCEG NOVI with a decisive 3-1 victory (25-22, 25-16, 20-25, 25-17) in a captivating final match. This significant win, marking their inaugural success against their primary competitors in three seasons, sets an exhilarating tone for what is anticipated to be an intense and closely contested battle in the upcoming EPCG Super League season.

Captain Dijana Vuković delivered an exceptional performance, single-handedly scoring an impressive 23 points. National team player Teodora Čavić also made a substantial contribution with 19 points, while middle blocker Aleksandra Šćekić showcased her prowess by reaching double digits with 12 points. Other vital contributions came from Maša Dragojević, who added eight points, Andjela Kukobat with seven points, and Tijana Tvrdišić, who finished with two points.
The prestigious Super Cup trophy was presented to the victorious team by Nikola Kažić, the President of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG). The gold medals for the deserving Luka BAR players were awarded by Ana Martinović, Director of Communications, Marketing, and Institutional Cooperation at Eagle Hills Montenegro, alongside Dušan Masoničić, President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Bar.

In recognition of her stellar performance, Dijana Vuković was deservedly named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match, receiving her accolade from Ksenija Božović, Director of Women’s National Teams at OSCG. Silver medals were presented to the players and coaching staff of the runner-up team, OK HERCEG NOVI, by Nevena Terzić and Petar Vukčević, both esteemed members of the OSCG Board of Administration. The finalist’s commemorative plaque was awarded to team captain Melisa Cenović by Ivan Bošković, the General Secretary of OSCG.
The match officials were also duly recognized for their crucial roles: supervisor Ana Ivanović and referees Jelena Mitrović and Slobodan Kovačević received their honors from Nikola Pješčić, OSCG Competitions Director.

Special accolades were bestowed upon Ana Ivanović and international referee Sonja Simonovska for their significant contributions and for proudly representing Montenegrin Volleyball on the international stage, specifically at the Women’s World Championship in Thailand and the 2025 CEV Women’s Champions League Final Four, respectively.
