Building on the success of the previous year, the organizers at Malå IF set out to make this year`s COOP SnowVolley Cup even better, and it`s fair to say they fully achieved their goal. Key elements that elevated the event included more teams from nearby clubs, enhanced spectator logistics, and a dedicated speaker/DJ. Excellent court preparation and optimal weather conditions also played a crucial role, prompting players and volunteers alike to express their eagerness to start planning for next year with renewed enthusiasm.

The 2024 COOP SnowVolley Cup began under cloudy conditions, with a temperature of -6 degrees Celsius and a light wind of 2 m/s. As the day progressed, the sun broke through, warming the temperature to zero degrees, which provided perfect playing conditions for the competitors and ideal viewing for the large crowd in attendance. The tournament featured a mix of teams, from those playing at an elite level to others whose passion made up for their lack of advanced skills. The entire event unfolded in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As the semifinals and finals approached, the matches became notably more intense, with several sets ending on close scores, like 20-18.

Special appreciation is extended to the organizing team, expertly led by Maria Larsson and Johan Grensell. They have successfully built a robust and efficient organization that operates with great passion. Their current efforts involve exploring opportunities not only to enhance their own event further but also to encourage participation from all clubs within the region.
