BELGIUM

Last weekend in Dendermonde, a women`s tournament counting towards the 2025 Belgian Beachvolley Championship tour took place. Top seeds Britt Ruysschaert & Isabel Van den Broeck secured the gold medal, defeating Lola Bombeke & Lente Thant 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) in the final. The bronze medal match saw the third-seeded Russian-Belgian duo of Olga Troshina & Xien Van Snick prevail 2-1 (15-21, 21-17, 15-13) over Simone Vervloet & Joke Van Hout.

FRANCE

Le Bois Plage de Re hosted a stop on the France Beach Volley Series. In the women`s event, top seeds Elsa Descamps & Romane Sobezalz won gold, beating third seeds Ophelie Lusson & Alex Merle 2-0 (21-14, 21-15) in the final. Naty Molinos & Lucile Colin took the bronze with a 2-1 (22-20, 10-21, 15-10) upset victory against second seeds Saofe Duval & Marilu Pally in the third-place match.

In the men’s final, Liam Patte & Timothee Platre delivered a 2-0 (21-17, 21-18) upset over top seeds Arthur Canet & Keran Duval to claim gold. Charly Samier & Enzo Tomietto earned the bronze, winning a three-set battle against Noubet Ngatoum & Jules M’Couela (21-14, 19-21, 15-19).


GERMANY

Bremen was the latest stop for the 2025 German Beach Tour. Top-seeded Robin Sowa & Jonas Reinhardt secured the men`s gold, winning a thrilling final 2-1 (21-18, 19-21, 26-24) against third seeds Jannik Kuhlborn & Luis Kubo. Niklas Held & Hennes Jorge Nissen, along with Bennet Poniewaz & David Poniewaz, shared third place.

In the women`s event, third seeds Nele Barber & Melanie Gernert claimed gold with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-16) upset over top seeds Anna Behlen & Chenoa Christ in the final. Leonie Klinke & Elea Beutel shared bronze with qualifiers Nina Interwies & Rika Dieckmann.


GREECE

The Hellenic Beach Volleyball National Tour stopped in Thessaloniki, held at the historic Aristotelous Square. Anastasia Shirinina & Paraskevi Zafeiriou, who started in the qualifications, remarkably won the women`s gold medal match 2-1 (21-18, 18-21, 15-11) against Myrto Paschalaki & Eleni Alexoglou. Second seeds Elisavet Triantafillidi & Dimitra Manavi shared third place with qualifiers Athina Dilaveri & Panagiota Karakou.


In the men`s competition, Norwegian wild cards Jonah Kjemperud & Jonah Utvik won gold, sweeping the final 2-0 (21-18, 21-16) against Dimitrios Niopas & Thodoris Papadimitriou. Top seeds Antiol Kola & Evangelos Sideris and second seeds Dimitrios Chatzinikolaou & Stavros Ntallas finished jointly in third place.


ITALY

The 2025 Fonzies Absolute Italian Beach Volleyball Championship tour began in Caorle. The first men`s title was won by third seeds Manuel Alfieri & Alex Ranghieri, who defeated Tobia Marchetto & Davide Dal Molin 2-0 (21-16, 21-18) in the final. Top seeds Tiziano Andreatta & Davide Benzi took bronze, winning the third-place match 2-1 (23-25, 21-17, 15-12) against Daniele Lupo & Davide Borraccino.

For the women, top seeds Chiara They & Sara Breidenbach secured gold with a 2-0 (21-17, 21-18) victory in the final over Giada Benazzi & Erika Ditta. Eleonora Annibalini & Giulia Toti won a tight bronze medal match 2-0 (21-19, 23-21) against Sara Franzoni & Agata Zuccarelli.


NETHERLANDS

Zandvoort hosted a stop on the Dutch Eredivisie Beach national tour. Women`s bracket leaders Brecht Piersma & Noa Sonneville won gold, defeating third seeds Serena van der Made & Rianne Stok 2-0 (21-17, 21-18) in the final. The mixed Austrian-Dutch pair of Julia Hodl & Elin Hoonhout upset second seeds Marly Bak & Bjorna Gras 2-1 (17-21, 26-24, 15-13) to take bronze.

In the men`s event, top seeds Alexander Brouwer & Steven van de Velde also won gold, beating second seeds Mica Bezemer & Matthew Immers 2-0 (21-17, 21-15). Sam van Der Loo & Leon Luini secured bronze after a three-set win (21-14, 20-22, 15-11) over Cain van Hal & Mart van Werkhoven.


POLAND

The Staszow stop on Poland`s Orlen Beach Volley Tour saw the men`s number one seeds Jedrzej Brozyniak & Piotr Janiak take gold. They came back from a set down to win the final 2-1 (18-21, 21-19, 15-9) against third seeds Michal Korycki & Milosz Kruk. In the third-place match between two qualifying teams, Tomasz Maziarek & Piotr Filipowicz won 2-0 (21-19, 21-15) against Marcin Krawiecki & Mikolaj Glowacki.

In the women`s final, third seeds Patrycja Jundzill & Julia Gierczynska achieved a 2-0 (21-18, 21-17) upset over top seeds Agnieszka Woloszyn & Aleksandra Chyla. Qualifiers Magdalena Lewandowska & Zuzanna Michalska won the bronze, sweeping the third-place game 2-0 (21-15, 21-19) against Gabriela Pulawska & Monika Gajtkowska.


RWANDA

The Federation Rwandaise de Volleyball (FRVB) National Beach Volleyball Tour stopped at Lake Kivu beach in Rubavu. Top seeds Benitha Mukandayisenga & Munezero Valentine won the women`s gold, defeating the mixed Ugandan-Rwandan pair of Sharon Amito & Musabyimana Peneloppe 2-0 (21-18, 21-19) in the final. Bronze went to the mixed Nigerian-Zimbabwean pair of Ijeoma Ukpabi & Jennipher Tembo, who beat Denyse Uwingabire & Olive Nzamukosha 2-0 (21-17, 21-15).

In the men`s event, top seeds Paul Akan & Abdul Hameed Ibrahim of Ghana won an exciting final 2-1 (15-21, 21-13, 17-15) against Niyikiza Revis & Mandela Nzirimo. Omary Bure & David Everist of Tanzania secured the bronze medal after Merci Gisubizo & Samuel Niyinshima forfeited the third-place playoff due to injury.


SLOVAKIA

Trnava hosted the second event of Slovakia’s 2025 Nike Summer Beach Tour. Matus Krajco & Michal Kilian achieved a 2-1 (21-15, 12-21, 15-12) upset victory over bracket leaders Kamil Pavlinsky & Patrik Marcok in the men`s gold medal match. Marek Ludha & Patrik Pokopec upset second seeds Marek Meciar & Dominik Jancok 2-0 (21-15, 28-26) for the bronze.

In the women’s tournament, top seeds Barbora Tokosova & Martina Terenova won a three-set final 2-1 (21-16, 19-21, 15-12) against second seeds Silvia Poszmikova & Katarina Kapralova. Zuzana Reginova & Ema Matasova won a very close bronze medal game 2-1 (21-16, 15-21, 17-15) over Andrea Spevarova & Iveta Miranda.


SWITZERLAND

Schaffhausen hosted Switzerland’s Emmi Caffe Latte Beachtour event last week. Menia Bentele & Annique Niederhauser, the top-seeded duo, won the women`s final 2-0 (21-15, 21-17) against Livia Stolz & Nadine Demierre. Second seeds Lisa Lina Adler & Alaia Adler took bronze with a 2-0 (21-19, 21-17) win over Noemi Grunig & Jasmin Schwab.

In the men`s event, Constantin Quadt & Michiel Zandbergen achieved a 2-0 (21-17, 21-19) upset victory against the top-seeded Swiss-Czech pair of Nathan Broch & Filip Habr in the final. Second seeds Mael Masserey & Tinko Schnegg secured bronze, winning 2-1 (21-13, 15-21, 15-11) against Kim Di Chello & Thibaud Colomb in the third-place game.
