National Beach Volleyball Tour Victors Across Europe

Bulgaria

Third-seeded **Irena Mishonova** and **Desislava Nikolova** claimed the women`s title at the Varna stop of the Bulgarian National Beach Volleyball Tour. They delivered a dominant 2-0 (21-18, 21-7) performance in the final against second-seeded Eleonora Gicheva and Darina Kindova. The bronze medal was secured by Desislava Todeva and Selin Salim, who achieved a close 2-0 (22-20, 25-23) victory over Ivana Ivanova and Tsvetelina Ilieva.

In the men`s competition, second-seeded **Martin Yochev** and **Denislav Dimitrov** earned the top spot on the podium. They executed a comeback from a set down to win 2-1 (15-21, 21-10, 15-8) against Hristiyan Velikov and Stefan Vartigov in the final. Boris Georgiev and Alexander Tsanev captured the bronze, surprising top-seeded Konstantin Stoykov and Lachezar Stoimenov with a 2-0 (21-14, 28-26) win in the third-place match.

France

The Finals of the 2025 France Beach Volley Series were held in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Third-seeded **Arthur Canet** and **Tom Altwies** emerged as the men’s champions, securing a 2-0 (21-13, 21-16) upset victory over bracket leaders Noubet Ngatoum and Simon Lebecq in the gold medal match. Olivier Barthelemy and Timothee Platre took the bronze, with a 2-0 (21-11, 21-18) win against second-seeded Lilian Le Meur and Jeremy Ullmann in the third-place encounter.

The women`s national title went to **Elsa Descamps** and **Romane Sobezalz**. The top-seeded pair battled to a 2-1 (21-18, 13-21, 15-11) victory in the final against second-seeded Saofe Duval and Marilu Pally. Third-seeded Ophelie Lusson and Alex Merle secured third place, winning 2-0 (21-19, 21-13) against Naty Molinos and Lucile Colin in the bronze medal game.

Slovakia

**Kristina Harmanova** and **Zuzana Reginova** fulfilled their top-seed expectations at the Kosice stop of Slovakia’s Nike Summer Beach Tour, clinching the women’s podium. They delivered a 2-0 (21-18, 21-17) sweep in the final against third-seeded Ema Matasova and Ema Palkovicova. The bronze medal match saw Zuzana Zamozikova and Viktoria Nemlaha win 2-1 (21-11, 16-21, 15-12) over Jana Noskova and Ema Durisova.

In the men`s final, **Patrik Pokopec** and **Peter Michalovic** secured a 2-1 (19-21, 25-23, 15-12) comeback victory against second-seeded Matus Krajco and Marek Meciar. Bracket leaders Martin Petro and Patrik Marcok settled for bronze, defeating the Polish-Ukrainian pair of Tomasz Cwiertnia and Kyrylo Tereshchenko 2-0 (21-18, 21-14) in the third-place match.

Spain

Top-seeded **Pablo Perez** and **Nathan Matos** claimed the men’s gold at the Gran Canaria stop on the Spanish National Beach Volleyball Circuit. They achieved a 2-0 (21-19, 21-17) victory in the final against qualifiers Finn Pickert and Llorenc Truyols. Jose Aba and Manuel Aba earned bronze with a 2-0 (21-16, 23-21) win over the Argentinean-Venezuelan duo of Ramiro Sancer and Hernan Tovar in the playoff for third place.

In the women`s competition, top-seeded **Nazaret Florian** and **Adriana Serrano** took first place after a hard-fought 2-1 (21-13, 20-22, 15-13) final against second-seeded Daniela Andreu and Elba Paez. However, qualifiers Maria Sevillano and Lucy Ifoma Monteiro dramatically clinched the bronze, staging a nail-biting 2-1 (21-13, 18-21, 17-15) upset against third-seeded Belen Carro and Bella Huesca.

Gran Canaria medalists on the Spanish Beach Volleyball Circuit

Ukraine

The capital Kyiv hosted the 2025 Ukraine Cup in beach volleyball. The women’s trophy was lifted by **Yeva Serdiuk** and **Anna Shumeiko**. In the final showdown, they produced a 2-0 (21-16, 21-17) upset of bracket leaders Inna Makhno and Iryna Makhno. Marharyta Vapniar and Mariia Shkurat secured bronze after a 2-1 (8-21, 21-17, 15-13) comeback victory against third-seeded Olha Mykhailovska and Olena Kurkina.

In the men’s trophy match, top-seeded **Sergiy Popov** and **Eduard Reznik** defeated second-seeded Vitalii Savvin and Anton Moiseiev by 2-1 (23-25, 21-19, 15-5). Ivan Datsiuk and Oleksii Bublyk also made the podium with bronze after a three-set battle, winning 2-1 (21-19, 18-21, 15-12) against Dmytro Kozii and Yaroslav Tymchenko.
