The 2025 NEVZA Beach Sweden tournament is fast approaching, scheduled from October 31 to November 2. Gothenburg Beach Volleyball Club (Göteborg BC) will host this final event of the North European Beach Volleyball Tour at the impressive Beach Center.

Thirty-two elite beach volleyball duos from Northern Europe (16 women`s and 16 men`s teams) are set to compete. They will vie for titles, crucial ranking points, and prize money in this ultimate NEVZA event of the year, held within the world`s largest indoor beach volleyball facility.

Following tradition, NEVZA Beach Sweden coincides with the Halloween Cup weekend, attracting almost 400 players for recreational tournaments across the venue`s 16 indoor courts.

“We expect exciting matches and excellent entertainment for everyone. Athletes, officials, and spectators are all cordially invited to the Halloween Party at the Beach Center on Saturday night.”

`Jacob
Last year`s winners in Göteborg, Jacob Hölting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson, made it among the top 10 at this year`s EuroBeachVolley in Düsseldorf.

Swedish teams have historically performed well on the NEVZA circuit, and last year`s event in Gothenburg was no different, securing one gold and two silver medals. Consequently, local expectations are high for the North European Tour`s return in late October.

Friborg added, “As organizers, we are proud and pleased to offer high-level competitive opportunities for Swedish athletes. This provides an invaluable chance for them to compete against international talent at home, gaining experience and vital ranking points. For instance, last year`s men`s champions, Jacob Hölting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson, are now among the world`s top-ranked players just a year later.”
