For the first time in its history, Swiss Volley organized a national beach volleyball event on June 21-22 that served as a qualifier for the preliminary stage of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup. The tournament was held in Kloten and Bessersdorf, providing players with a unique and much-appreciated opportunity to represent their clubs rather than competing individually, a truly innovative concept for the sport.

Under excellent weather conditions, the teams demonstrated their best efforts to meet expectations, resulting in several thrilling and dramatic matches. The players universally enjoyed the competition format and expressed their satisfaction with the experience.

Nidau Volley claimed victory in the men`s competition, while the Beachvolley Academy Bern won the women`s title. Both winning teams will now represent Switzerland in the preliminary phase of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025, which is scheduled for this September. The exact venues and dates for this upcoming stage are yet to be confirmed.
