Norwegian Beach Volleyball Celebrates Successful Inaugural Club Championship

The past weekend marked a significant milestone for Norwegian Beach Volleyball, as the very first National Club Championship was successfully hosted at Flint Arena in Tønsberg. This innovative format brought clubs into the spotlight, with each team comprising four to six players, allowing for tactical substitutions and thrilling Golden Set deciders.

The event delivered a spectacle of thrilling matches and high drama, with both the men`s and women`s finals ultimately decided in a gripping Golden Set.

Men’s Podium:

  1. Kristiansand SK (KSK)
  2. Tønsberg VBK
  3. Oslo SVB and Strandvik VBK

Women’s Podium:

  1. Oslo SVB
  2. Kristiansand SK
  3. Kristiansand SK 2

Oslo SVB triumphed in the inaugural women`s competition.

Following this triumphant debut, the Norwegian Volleyball Federation (NVBF) is already looking forward to expanding the format in the years to come. As a result of their victories, Kristiansand SK (men`s champions) and Oslo SVB (women`s champions) have earned the right to represent Norway in the preliminary phase of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025.
