A thrilling conclusion is expected for the 2025 CEV Volleyball European Silver League Men, as the top two teams prepare for a two-legged final scheduled for July 3 and July 6. Following a month of intense competition involving eight ambitious national teams, only the best remain, each vying for a chance to write a new chapter in their country`s volleyball history.

Sweden stands out as the only undefeated team in the competition, having secured the top spot in the league round with a perfect record of six wins and dropping only a single set throughout. Their opponents in the final, Hungary, suffered just one defeat in the league phase, coincidentally against Sweden in the penultimate match.

These two teams recently faced each other on June 28 in Austria. Sweden demonstrated clear dominance in that encounter, securing a decisive 3:0 victory with set scores of 25:15, 25:21, and 25:17. Sweden`s win in that match was never seriously challenged.

The championship final will be contested over two legs, with each finalist hosting one match. This format allows both teams to leverage the support of their home crowd. With promotion to the prestigious Golden League and a place among Europe`s elite teams at stake, both finalists are undoubtedly highly motivated to seize this opportunity.

The first leg of the final is scheduled to take place in Kecskemet on July 3, starting at 18:30 CEST. The crucial second leg, where the title will be awarded, is set for Umea, Sweden, on July 6, beginning at 17:00 CEST.
