Sweden has claimed the championship title of the 2025 Men’s CEV European Silver League, successfully fending off a spirited comeback attempt from Hungary in the decisive second leg of the final.
Sweden started the final strongly, asserting their dominance by comfortably winning the first set with a score of 25–17. Their defense, especially blocking, was particularly effective, recording five kill blocks that set a powerful tone for the opening set.
Hungary, however, showed great resilience, fighting back to consecutively win the second and third sets. This made them the first team in the tournament to win two consecutive sets against Sweden, marking a proud moment for the Hungarian squad who demonstrated competitive spirit throughout the match.

Despite Hungary`s push, Sweden rediscovered their form in the fourth set, clinching the match and the championship. This victory not only earns Sweden the trophy but also guarantees their automatic spot in the 2026 CEV Golden League.
This final appearance is Hungary`s second in three years. Although they couldn`t secure the title, their performance and competitive spirit were commendable once more in the competition.
Viktor Lindberg of Sweden was awarded MVP (Most Valuable Player) for his outstanding performance in the match, contributing a significant 17 points.
Congratulations to Sweden on becoming the 2025 CEV European Silver League Men`s Champions!
