Türkiye`s women`s team has achieved a remarkable start to the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour season, securing consecutive victories. Following their initial triumph in Bakuriani, Georgia, they clinched another win at home in Erzurum, marking two wins from two events on the women`s circuit. In the men`s competition, Italy narrowly beat Poland in the Bakuriani Final, while France claimed a well-earned victory by defeating another Polish team in the Erzurum Final.
During the Bakuriani event, which also hosted the inaugural U20 European Snow Championship recently, the host nation Georgia thrilled its fans by securing third place in the men`s tournament, besting France. Similarly, in the women`s competition, Georgia again earned a bronze medal after defeating Hungary.
At the Erzurum stop, Türkiye secured the third spot on the men`s podium by overcoming Italy. In the women`s tournament, Romania emerged as a surprising contender, reaching the final and securing second place by outperforming three other Turkish teams.
The current Snow European Tour season will conclude with its final event in Prato Nevoso, Italy, from March 29-31.
