VNL 2025 Women’s Finals: The Road to Glory in Łódź

The Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2025 women`s tournament is poised for its thrilling conclusion in Łódź, Poland. Eight elite teams are set to compete for the championship title over five intense days of action.

From July 23rd to 27th, the celebrated Atlas Arena will host the tournament`s climactic final phase. The competition will follow a knockout format, guaranteeing continuous, high-level volleyball excitement.

Following a rigorous preliminary round that spanned from June 4th to July 15th, the seven highest-ranked teams have secured their places in the finals, joining host nation Poland.

Participating Teams

The formidable eight teams confirmed to battle in Łódź are:

  • Italy
  • Brazil
  • Japan
  • Poland
  • Türkiye
  • China
  • USA
  • Germany

Quarterfinal Schedule

The quarterfinal matches will take place over the first two days of the Finals. Two games are scheduled each day, commencing at 16:30 and 20:00 local time on both Wednesday, July 23rd, and Thursday, July 24th.

The quarterfinal pairings are:

  • Italy vs. USA – July 23rd at 16:30 local time (14:30 GMT)
  • Poland vs. China – July 23rd at 20:00 local time (18:00 GMT)
  • Japan vs. Türkiye – July 24th at 16:30 local time (14:30 GMT)
  • Brazil vs. Germany – July 24th at 20:00 local time (18:00 GMT)

Semifinals and Finals

Friday, July 25th, is designated as a crucial rest and preparation day for the teams before the semifinals on Saturday. The first semifinal will begin at 16:00 local time (14:00 GMT), with the second following at 20:00 local time (18:00 GMT).

The grand finale on Sunday, July 27th, will feature the bronze medal match at 16:00 local time (14:00 GMT), leading up to the gold medal championship match at 20:00 (18:00 GMT).

Now in its seventh season, the VNL has consistently heightened the excitement in international volleyball. The 2025 women`s tournament, in particular, has proven to be one of the most fiercely competitive editions to date. Thousands are expected to fill the Atlas Arena to witness the world`s elite players in action.
