EXCLUSIVE: The Fox medical drama Doc has welcomed four new actors to its recurring cast: Barrett Carnahan (known for For All Mankind and Cobra Kai), Raffa Virago (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Davey and Jonesie’s Locker), Cecilia Lee (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Fear Street: Prom Queen), and Kolton Stewart (Heated Rivalry, My Life with the Walter Boys).
Inspired by a true story and based on an Italian format, Doc centers on the brilliant but hard-charging physician Dr. Amy Larsen (played by Molly Parker), who is rebuilding her life after a car crash caused her to lose eight years of memories.
The ensemble for Season 3 also features Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, and Patrick Walker. Blair Underwood is also joining the show as a series regular.
Details on the roles of the newly added actors are as follows:
Carnahan will portray Graham Barker, an entitled, smooth, and charming character determined to prove his worth beyond being the "nepotism baby" of a wealthy hospital donor.
Virago is set to play Nikki De Silva, described as an overachiever who is tightly wound, sharp, and quick-witted.
Lee will take on the role of Ruth Chen, an empathetic, eager, and kind intern who supports her peers. Despite her high intelligence, she can become flustered when overwhelmed.
Stewart will play Kyle Ferguson, the youngest of the interns. He is brilliant and humble, a bit of a fish out of water as he was homeschooled. He's also direct, sincere, and guileless.
Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg are serving as co-showrunners and executive producers for the third season of Doc. Additional executive producers include Erwin Stoff, Russell Fine, John Weber, and Frank Siracusa. Molly Parker is also a producer for this season.
