Stefano Chivu, the coach of Inter Milan's youth team, expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance following their convincing 4-1 triumph over Monza. He acknowledged that while the team's physical condition was not yet at its peak, they are continuously working to improve. Chivu also gave credit to the opposing team, Monza, for presenting challenges with their pressing and second-ball tactics, which initially caused Inter to be slow in their recovery.

"We knew our condition wasn't optimal yet; we're always working to improve. We must give credit to the opponent who put us in difficulty," Chivu stated in an interview with Inter's official channels. "Monza troubled us with their pressure and second balls, on which we were slow to recover. We wanted to stick to the game plan, but there was some rustiness and impatience, a lack of individual and collective technical precision. Taking the lead early in the second half then helped us regain composure and clarity to control the match."

Regarding player selection, Chivu emphasized his belief that all players are starters, with choices dependent on individual characteristics, the opponent, the current situation, and the team's physical status. He expressed his delight with the players' dedication during preseason training and the early return of those who participated in the World Cup. "This is the most pleasing thing a coach can encounter," he remarked. "This is a group of good people who have maintained a very high level over the years. I believe in them, and there is still significant room for improvement."

Chivu also singled out Lautaro Martinez for praise, stating his willingness to assist the striker if needed. "If I can help him, I will," he added, underscoring his supportive role.
