The Roman team held their own against one of the group's top contenders. D'Antoni added, "We have many debutants in Serie C, but we played with personality against an important team and in a prestigious stadium. We had opportunities to equalize in the final moments, and it wouldn't have been a scandal. We are left with a good performance, but I'd prefer to get the points because those are what we truly need. I'm not very happy when I leave the field with compliments from the opponents and a defeat on my shoulders."
D'Antoni also touched upon the transfer market. "We are a small reality, but the club is of a higher caliber. This was our great strength last year, and we hope it will be again this year. The market? There's a week left, and we'll see what happens, but our league doesn't depend on these last few days of the market, but on how much we can raise our level compared to tonight."
