A woman, identified as Natalie McDonald, 34, has been remembered by her mother as a "beautiful soul" who would do anything for anyone. She tragically died in a house fire, along with her seven-year-old niece, Valentina Foster, in Grangetown, near Middlesbrough, early Wednesday morning.

Cleveland Police reported that the fire also critically injured a 48-year-old woman, who remains in hospital. Three other individuals sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

Authorities have arrested two men, aged 23 and 31, on suspicion of murder. They are currently in police custody.

Lisa Kirton, Natalie's mother, described her daughter as "lovely, bright and bubbly," adding that "everybody loved her." She shared that Valentina, also known as Tina, had been staying with the family for the summer holidays.

"She was a cute little kid," Kirton said of her granddaughter, expressing disbelief and calling the tragedy a "disgrace."
