Futures in Europe
The second segment of the two-week Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour action in Warsaw is set to commence on Thursday, as women`s teams take to the sand for the Futures event held in the Polish capital.

Following last week`s men`s tournament, the women`s competition will unfold at Plaża Wilanów, featuring 28 teams representing four continents vying for medals.
Seventeen different nations will be participating in this week`s event. Host nation Poland will field five teams, while Czechia and Lithuania each send three. Canada, Chile, and Slovakia are represented by two teams, and Australia, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Switzerland, and the United States each have one team competing.
Beach Pro Tour Warsaw Futures – Women
While Poland`s men`s teams did not secure any medals last week, the women`s event could see a different outcome, with the host country boasting the top two seeded teams: Urszula Lunio/Natalia Okla and Marta Lodej/Julia Kielak.
Key contenders for the top podium spot also include Lithuania’s Ieva Vasiliauskaite/Erika Kliokmanaite and Finland’s Anniina Parkkinen/Valma Vilhelmiina Prihti.
The tournament schedule begins with the qualifier rounds on Thursday. The main draw pool play will take place on Friday, followed by the elimination rounds on Saturday, culminating in the semifinals and medal matches on Sunday.
The Beach Pro Tour Futures events across Europe are managed by the CEV in close collaboration with Volleyball World. These events offer European teams valuable opportunities to compete and accumulate crucial international ranking points.
