At the recent Slovenian national Snow Volleyball championships held successfully in Krvavec, the VBO Premium Toothbrush CEV School Project `Play Volleyball – Grow with it` introduced the sport to a new generation. Children who volunteered as ball keepers and scorers had their initial experience with Snow Volleyball. They quickly discovered that moving on the snowy surface presented a greater challenge than their indoor volleyball practices, that the specific Snow Volleyball ball was quite different from what they were accustomed to in U-13 indoor competitions, and that the sport demanded a distinct set of skills.
Boys and girls from Volleyball clubs OD Vital Ljubljana, OK Črnuče, and OK Kamnik enthusiastically took part throughout the day. They engaged with the players, learned valuable insights from them, and, most importantly, thoroughly enjoyed exploring this exciting and newest volleyball discipline.

Her peer Teodor, also from the country`s capital, was equally thrilled after a full day spent at the renowned Slovenian ski resort, expressing his excitement about the experience.
The Volleyball Federation of Slovenia (OZS) intends to continue organizing national championship events at RTC Krvavec. Furthermore, they plan to revive the ‘Kids Day’ previously held on the snowy surface, which will allow children to familiarize themselves with Snow Volleyball a day before the official start of the main competition.
