August 28, 2026Carlos Mendoza1 мин

The negotiations between Roma Femminile and Barcelona for the transfer of offensive winger Giulia Galli are progressing. Galli, born in 2008, is currently under contract with the Giallorossi club until June 2027. Roma had hoped to retain the young player, whom they still consider a valuable talent to invest in. However, Galli's entourage has not shown enthusiasm for the renewal proposals presented, prompting the Roman club to act to avoid the risk of losing her for free.

Contact with Barcelona continues, and the deal could be finalized in the upcoming negotiation stages. According to sources, the fixed component of the agreement is currently below €200,000. The total figure could only surpass this threshold through the activation of certain bonuses stipulated in the agreement.

Concurrently with Galli's potential departure, Roma is not neglecting its market preparations. The Giallorossi club is already working to provide Gianpiero Piovani with a complete and functional squad aligned with his tactical ideas. The objective is to deliver an outfit suitable for the style of play Piovani intends to implement by September 21st, the closing date for the women's summer transfer window in Italy. Roma is also exploring opportunities to strengthen their offensive department.
